What Sets Us Apart | The Tech AI Advantage

Many universities have launched AI programs, but Georgia Tech is different. It is an institute-wide hub that unites efforts across numerous colleges and fields, from computing and engineering to policy, design, business, and the sciences. Rather than focusing on theory or a single discipline, Tech AI at Georgia Tech offers cross-college collaboration and public-private partnerships, driving real-world impact in healthcare, education, cybersecurity, and manufacturing.

Georgia Tech is one of the few universities leading multiple National Science Foundation national AI research institutes, cementing its role as a national leader in AI innovation.

Georgia Tech also offers rare hands-on resources, including a dedicated AI makerspace powered by NVIDIA supercomputing for unmatched computing power and experiential learning. It is also building Nexus, a new supercomputer that will use AI to accelerate scientific breakthroughs in partnership with the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Every project prioritizes fairness, transparency, and societal benefit. Its whole-of-society approach and national leadership in AI workforce development—from K-12 to adult learning—set a new benchmark for inclusive, career-connected education.

Georgia Tech is more than research excellence; it is a mission to prepare society for an AI-powered future.
