Spring AI Safety Forum

Artificial Intelligence will be a transformative technology. How do we make sure it benefits all? A keynote speaker as well as technical and governance workshops designed to start a conversation.

The Spring AI Safety Forum at Georgia Tech is designed for technical and non-technical researchers, students, industry stakeholders, and members of the public to understand how AI can be a dangerous technology and where the policy conversation lies. After a short keynote, attendees may choose from a technical workshop titled "Opening Pandora's Box: Creating Malicious RL Agents", hosted by Changlin Li, founder of the AI Safety Awareness Foundation, and a governance workshop titled "Down the Rabbit Hole: Forecasting and AI Legislation." Attendees will get hands-on experience with policy conversations and safety tools; we ask and seek to answer questions like "What does unsafe AI even look like?" and "How can we prepare for transformative AI?" This is a great opportunity to learn more about AI safety, explore cutting-edge technologies, and network with like-minded people from around Georgia.
